Question Authority articles cover current interesting subjects and another way of looking at issues affecting students at UCSB and Isla Vista. Question Authority is a weekly news article written by Mark Signa and published in the Daily Nexus student newspaper in response to questions students have about what's going on in and around UCSB and Isla Vista.

This makes for some entertaining reading and will give you a new perspective of why things are done the way they're done by the UCSB Police Department.

Frustrations can arise from a lack of communication between the students and the police. Here's an opportunity to talk about the issues that affect you at the University, dispel myths and rumors, and open the lines for communication. Hard feelings from both sides could be avoided if we take time to ask the police questions and clear up misunderstandings.
